Join Abaigéal and Christine for a special weekend out in the west of Ireland. Taking place on from 6 - 8 October 2023 on the grounds of Clonalis House, this tailored retreat will help you ease into Autumn We will offer a range of yoga classes suitable for all levels.

It is important to slow down and reconnect with yourself as the seasons shift.  Autumn is a time for letting go, for making space. The trees remind us of the importance of shedding what we no longer need. Take time to nurture your roots and prepare for the darker months ahead. This retreat will give you space to focus on yourself so that you feel grounded and nourished moving into Autumn. The grounds of Clonalis House (Castlerea, Co. Roscommon) will provide the perfect backdrop to soften and release tension with magic woodland walks, rivers and an abundance of native trees.

Gently stretch and soothe your body with soulful Hatha yoga, Yin yoga and restorative yoga. In addition to yoga, you can discover the healing power of sound with guest teacher J.G. of Lecarrow Farm, who will host a sound bath to help you unwind.

Over the three days, there will be yin and yang yoga sessions, helping you find inner balance and calm. Yin is a slower style, that focuses on releasing tension in your connective tissues, while yang or flow sessions will help you build energy and strength. Whatever it is you need, to rest, refresh or restore, you will find it here. You will be encouraged to listen to your own heart, body and soul. You will be free to pick and choose what sessions you wish to attend, tailoring the experience to suit your needs.

When you are ready to fall into bed, you can enjoy two nights of restful slumber in Clonalis’ beautifully restored period buildings. The former granary, steward’s house and coach house have been transformed into country-chic self-cat
ering cottages. Think cosy fires and fluffy pillows. A range of rooms, double (single occupancy) and twin shared, are available to suit every need. The yoga space, a renovated old Forge, is just a short stroll across a private courtyard, so it’s never been easier to roll out of bed and onto your mat.

And don’t worry, although the cottages are self-catering, all your food will be fully catered with nourishing meals provided throughout. Expect delicious wholesome food, packed full of flavour with catering provided by local Castlerea restaurateur Josie, owner of Bastion Kitchen.
